A long long time ago, on the beautifully blue
planet called Gaia (now the Earth) there was a great civilization living in
peace on a big island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean called Atlantea.
Everybody knows the fate of this civilization, advanced technology once used for
war lead to a real nightmare...
What is not well known about the Atlanteans is that they flew on diverse part of the lands surrounding the Atlantic ocean, some go to the mid-America and became the sun-worshipers Incas, and some go to the south-europa and became the Basque people.
Many others found refuge on a lot of not yet born countries, but let us focus on the Basque people.
If
you search some references about this people, you will find some information
really unbelievable, the modern scientists have found a common basis of all the
west & east European and north-African people, the origins of their language is
the Basque language, and you can found many similarities between this language
and the Inca, Maya or Aztec language...
Well I let you search yourself because there is too much to say and I haven't talk about my heroes yet :-[
You have guessed it, they are Basque heroes, a couple of no special appearance when you encounter them as Monique & Frederic Bascou :
but if you can become closed friends to
them, you will be surprised to see that they are also the fantastic duo
Phénix &
Dragon ! :
They are the incarnation of ancient forces from Atlantea, fire & ice, and also the living east concept of yin/yang. Phénix is the feminine part, you can think she is a cold dark passive woman, but you're wrong, she is the opposite, because there is always a white part on the black portion of the yin/yang symbol, she can control fire as if it is a living part of herself, and it is ! She is impetuous, aggressive and can create wild storms of fire, she use her powers to create wings and tail of fire to symbolize her namesake.
Dragon is more defensive and calm
than his wife, his control over water is so accurate that he can create his ice
armor and make it become solid as metal or light as steam.
(They are the living symbol of their zodiacal signs, she is a leo, sign of fire with the sun as planet, with the force of the lion and the same arrogance.
He is a cancer, sign of water with the moon
as planet, protected by his armored
shell, nothing can hurt him as long as he is in his element.)
