The premise was we were all going to be re-incarnated humans, but since the re-incarnation was an accident, we were actually now reborn as half-human/half-angels with enhanced physical abilities, some psychic sensory abilities, and also the ability to create physical manifestations of our angelic and human characteristics, which explains our strange outfits and weapons. Each of the people based on the characters had some input, some more than others (Nadia's very hard to satisfy).

Thanks to everyone who recognizes their work, I'd like to say I did do Griffin's sword by hand though, and if anyone wants it, I can send it to them. It's based on one of the character's weapons from Soul Caliber 2.
